litigation defense. Loren was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He
received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 1985,
and received his J.D. in 1990 from the University of Houston Law Center.
He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and several Federal
Jurisdictions. Loren has presented lectures to insurance professionals
on insurance subrogation law. He has handled multiple appeals from State
and Federal Courts, several of which resulted in published opinions.
Loren's experience in assisting the development of case law in Texas
includes two recent opinions that established, for the first time in
Texas, that worker's compensation carriers may subrogate against uninsured/underinsured
motorist benefits.
Melissa Nance Murrah

defense, premises liability, products liability, and auto accidents.
Melissa was born in Houston, Texas. She received a B.B.A. from
Texas A & M University in 1990, and received her J.D. in 1993 from
the University of Houston Law Center. She is licensed to practice
law in the State of Texas and several Federal jurisdictions.
Melissa has presented lectures to insurance professionals on insurance
subrogation law.
W. Scott Red, Jr. practices in the areas of subrogation recovery, insurance
defense, oil field, plant, and construction site accidents, premises liability, vehicular accidents, product liability, business and commercial litigation, contracts, corporate law, consumer law, real estate, family law, wills, trusts, estates and probate law, and general civil litigation.
Scott is a native Houstonian whose roots stretch back to the Republic of Texas. He received his B.A. from Rice University in 1976, and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1980. Scott is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, as well as, a number of federal jurisdictions including the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
